Description
A poppet-type self-sealing quick-disconnect coupling used for ground servicing of aircraft hydraulic systems, where it lets test stands and service carts be connected and disconnected with essentially no fluid loss or air inclusion. It has been the long-standing ground-service standard on a wide range of U.S. military aircraft. The self-sealing valves in both halves close automatically on disconnect to keep the hydraulic system clean and contained.
